Eduardo Moreno completed higher studies in clarinet, while simultaneously training with a large number of teachers from both the national and international spheres. He later specialized in historical clarinet performance under the guidance of Eric Hoeprich.

Through a competitive public examination process, he was appointed Director of the Municipal Band and the Municipal Music School of Laguardia (Alava, Spain).

As an educator, he has over fifteen years of teaching experience and is regularly invited to give courses and lectures on historical performance practice at various conservatories and music schools.

As a historical clarinet performer, he founded the Lefèvre Quartet, with which he recorded the album Entre Dos Tiempos in 2013.

Driven by his commitment to reviving music from the past and in his capacity as a researcher, he released the album Pasaporte al Cielo in 2014, featuring 18th-century repertoire. His work as a researcher and ethnomusicologist has led him to publish numerous articles as well as the book La Música en Laguardia del Siglo XII a la Actualidad. He is currently working on two additional recording and literary projects.

As a composer, he has built an extensive catalogue of works in a wide range of styles, including wind band music, chamber music, and orchestral repertoire. His compositions have been recorded by ensembles such as the Bilbao Municipal Band and the Basque National Orchestra.
