Description
It is a harmonization for four equal voices of a popular Asturian melody that is sung as a carol at Christmas and as a lullaby the rest of the year. It consists of three stanzas that speak of the care that a mother seeks so that the newborn child can sleep peacefully. While the upper voice sings the original melody, the design of the lower voices suggests the sway with which the child is rocked.
